Hi,

My name is Kellie and this is my blog. I am a first year full-time student studying a Bachelor of Arts at the North Rockhampton campus.

I am 57, have three adult children and six beautiful grandchildren whom I adore. I live with my elderly Mum and we take care of each other and I also help out with my grandchildren when my children are working. (Where would they be without Mum?)

I was born and bred in Rockhampton and my siblings and their families all live here too. We are a close knit family and we look after each.

This blog is about my journey in ACCT11059 as well as trying to navigate the different world of university. I am excited, overwhelmed and nervous however I am looking forward to working hard, collaborating and meeting new people.

Each week I will endeavour to post a blog about my week or anything that happens to me that I find interesting, funny or sad.

I want to wish everyone good luck with their studies for this term which I hope you enjoy and don’t forget to have some fun!
